Frequently Asked Questions

What is ClashDuke?

ClashDuke is an all-in-one Clash of Clans platform: a Discord bot plus a web dashboard. It gives your community war & CWL tools, legends tracking, rosters, reminders, moderation, auto-roles, log feeds, and public clan/player pages — all in one place.

How do I add the bot to my server?

Use the invite link and pick your Discord server. Then run /setup to link your first clan. You can also invite it from the Claim your server page after signing in to the dashboard. See the quickstart.

Is ClashDuke free?

Servers run on a plan or a free trial. A server with no active plan or trial is locked — tracking pauses and commands answer with a subscribe prompt. Start a free trial (no card needed) or activate a plan from the Billing page. See Plans & trials.

Data takes time to warm up

ClashDuke shows only what its tracker has already collected — it doesn’t fetch a full history the moment you link a clan. When you first link a clan:

  • Basic clan and member info appears within a couple of minutes.
  • War, capital, activity, donation, and legend analytics build up over time as the tracker records live events. A brand-new clan will show empty war stats, empty capital data, and thin activity graphs until wars, raids, and days have actually passed while ClashDuke was watching.
  • Search returns data only for tracked entities. Anything not tracked shows a “not tracked” result — that’s expected, not an error.

In short: link the clan, then give it time. The dashboard’s war and analytics pages fill in as data accrues.

How do I link a clan to my server?

Run /setup clan with the clan tag (you can also add an alias and category). This links the clan and starts tracking it. You can also do it from the Clans page on the dashboard. See Linking clans.

How do members link their own accounts?

Members run /link create with their player tag. To verify ownership (or claim an account someone else linked), they add their in-game API token from the game’s Settings → More Settings screen. /link default sets a main account, /link list shows what’s linked, and /link button posts a self-service “Link Account” button. See Links & verification.

What's the difference between a verified and unverified link?

An unverified link claims a player tag without proof. A verified link was confirmed with the account’s in-game API token, so ClashDuke knows the member truly owns it. Some features (like verified-only roles) can require verification.

Who can use the dashboard for my server?

The person who claims the server becomes its Owner. Owners (and platform superadmins) hold every permission. Everyone else holds whatever their assigned staff role grants. Build roles on the Roles & permissions page — a role can only grant permissions its creator already holds, and only sit below its creator’s rank. See Permissions.

Why does a page say 'No access'?

That page needs a specific ClashDuke permission you don’t currently hold — for example, the Reminders page needs the Reminders permission. Ask a server owner to grant your role that permission. Read-only analytics pages generally need only a view permission.

Can clanmates without Discord use the dashboard?

Yes. An admin creates a credential sub-account for them (from the Members or Credential accounts page), and they sign in at /login with the server ID, username, and password. They can also request an account from the registration page for an admin to approve.

What happens when a server is 'locked'?

A locked server has no active plan or trial: tracking is paused and commands answer with a subscribe prompt. Start a free trial or activate a plan from the Billing page to unlock it. See Plans & trials.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

No. Trials need no card. Paid card/UPI checkout activates once the payment provider is connected.

Are plans per server or per account?

Plans are per Discord server. Each server you manage has its own plan status, which you can see on its Billing page.

Where does ClashDuke's data come from?

Game data comes from the official Clash of Clans API and is stored in ClashDuke’s own database. The dashboard reads only from that store — it never fetches live on your behalf.

Is my server's data visible to other servers?

No. Tenant data (your links, reminders, moderation records, staff roles, and so on) is scoped to your server. Only aggregate game-data snapshots (clan/player) are shared across the platform’s own tracking — never your tenant data.

Is ClashDuke affiliated with Supercell?

No. ClashDuke is unofficial fan content and is not endorsed by Supercell. See the note below.
